ATA Lodge on the Alagnak Wild River is Looking forward to the 2023 Season after a Fantastic 2022 Season

ATA Lodge, situated on the Wild and Scenic Alagnak River of Bristol Bay, in Southwest Alaska is anticipating another fantastic season in 2023 after an Epic Season in 2022!! What can we say about the 2022 season that has just finished?  My concern in not about what to say, but rather, how do I fit it all in to one fishing report!!!  2022 was our busiest season ever at ATA Lodge and what a fantastic crew and group of guests we had this year!  Our guests, also had an amazing time experiencing all the fabulous fishing in one of Alaska's most pristine and beautiful locations, remotely located far away from the crowds, and filled with adventure. 2022 saw the season...

2019 End of Season Report from ATA Lodge on the Fabled Alagnak Wild River of Bristol Bay, Alaska

Another Great Season in the Books at ATA Lodge!  After browsing through this blog post, I think that you will have to admit that The Alagnak Wild River is a pretty photogenic location.  We certainly feel privileged to be able to call it "home" for almost 5 months every year! Conditions this season were a bit different than what we have come to expect out here in Bristol Bay.  After a very mild winter with little snowpack on the mountains, we went on to experience an unprecedented heatwave and drought throughout the entire season.  The snow that was on the mountains in spring had almost totally melted off by early July as the photo above shows.  Normally we would have prolonged...

With only 3 months to go before opening day on the Alagnak Wild River of Bristol Bay, Alaska; ATA Lodge is looking forward to another great season.   It is about this time we start to get that itchy feeling that starts tingling from the very tips of our toes as we anticipate the beginning of another season on what could be considered one of the very best rivers anywhere in the world for what we love to do....and boy do we love to catch fish!
